life's tiny annoyances

This week has been a rough one for me. I've felt supremely annoyed about stuff big and small. I do a decent job of letting it go when I can but it's not my strong suit. Sometimes I like to pretend I don't have issues with things, only to bottle it up and explode about it later when I'm alone. This week, maybe I would be better off to be a hermit. Channeling this energy, I found this illustration done by Roxie Vizcarra. The style is very nice, almost comic quality to it and the colors suit it well. Plus, dealing with an event where one person is slightly annoying someone else hit home this week. Enjoy!

vector illustrations

These illustrations done by Fernando Togni are really quite beautiful examples of how to use Illustrator well, something I haven't even begun to attempt. Below are some examples and the link to the article where I found them. He also has a very useful website which is linked below as well, along with the ability to purchase a good many of his prints at a very very reasonable price.

black swan, revisioned

Design firm LaBoca made the awesome posters for the film Black Swan. I haven't seen it but I do feel a little more inclined to do so. I particularly enjoyed the first two, I do like a picture within a picture. And retro things. So here they are:
